Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

I have to warn you, the characters are terrible, perfectly written and developed, but pretty much all of them are pretty horrendous people. The descriptions bring you into the turbulent emotions of these characters and I loved the way the descriptions of the landscape, rooms or weather truly set the mood of the storyline, adding to each scene and setting.

I completely understand now why so many people have read this book and why it's still talked about. Walls depicts such a harsh reality with such beautiful writing. I couldn't put this book down, and although it's a memoir, it read like a well-written novel.

Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik

I absolutely loved Naomi Novik's first book in this fantastical world, Uprooted and waited anxiously for this one. Although not the same characters as in Uprooted, Naomi was a way of writing these fantasy worlds and characters that is so magical and I definitely enjoyed this book almost as much as Uprooted.

Literature by Guillermo Stitch

I definitely enjoyed this novella and Guillermo Stitch’s writing style with the wit and carefully chosen wording he uses throughout the story. The intricate story of Billy Stranger’s last few years and this very chaotic day unfolds quickly, flashing back to some past moments that has lead him to this sad and yet thrilling day.
